National Tree Week: 25 Nov-3 Dec 2017

Tree Dressing Day

Always a great celebration of trees old and new, the country is getting ready for another National Tree Week at the end of November.  Running from 25 November to 3 December, this year’s events spread far and wide across the UK and engage families, schools and communities in all that is great about tree planting.

What will YOU plant?

Be part of this year’s National Tree Week

First initiated in 1975, National Tree Week is back again this November.  As the UK’s largest tree celebration, this annual campaign heralds the full commencement of the winter tree planting season.  As usual, there are hundreds of hosted planting events across the country, supported by the Tree Warden network.

Consider a tree and hedging pack

If you’re thinking of planting in your community, a simple way to manage your planting plans is to buy one of our tree and hedge packs.  Combined varieties with wildlife, woodland, woodfuel or the most common variety – hawthorn – in mind, our packs include everything you need to get planting.  Each pack contains plants and Rootgrow and you can add plant protection in the form of spiral guards and bamboo canes too.  Find out more.
