National Tree Week 2015

National Tree Week 2015 will once again herald the start of winter planting across the UK, running from Saturday 28 November to Sunday 6 December.  First promoted by the Tree Council back in 1975, National Tree Week has become the UK’s largest tree celebration. Grab a spade and join in!

Time for topiary…or is it?

Your box hedging will have started to bursting into full glory in March and although there’ll be lots of new shoots, you should still hold off on grabbing the shears just yet.  Wait until the 1st week of June – traditionally Derby Day – when all risk of frost or box blight has gone.
